Scientific and Technology Consultant
We are looking to add scientific and technical consultants to our growing network of highly specialized experts. The consultants will perform literature search and analysis under the guidance of legal professionals to uncover high quality, strong, and on point peer reviewed references to support attorneys in litigation. This is a contract position and the consultants can choose projects based on their own schedule and availability. The consultants should have an advanced degree, e.g., Ph.D., M.D., in their respective fields. We may consider exceptional students who are currently enrolled and pursuing an advanced degree. The consultants should have substantial scientific literature search experience and the ability to work under time pressure.
We are looking for analyst interns for the following assignments (1) survey the U. S. legal market financial trends including the current litigation costs for different types of cases, the breakdown of the cost structure and the attorney’s fee structure, the potential impact by artificial intelligence on legal costs; and (2) perform research and help establish database on academic and industrial experts in areas relevant to current legal practice in the United States, including science, medicine, math, engineering, economy, and government regulations. We are looking for candidates who are enrolled in an accredited college or graduate school and have sufficient relevant background and strong analytical and writing skills.
